Admit it or not, everyone needs to take a mental vacation every now and than. For some of us it's going to our happy place and for others it's going to a physical place. I took my mental vacation last night that was sorta a physical vacation wrapped up in one.... I'll let you be the judge.
When i got off work yesterday, i booked a room at the Embassy Suites in Jacksonville, Florida ( a couple miles from my house). As expected, it was great and did me wonders.
Everyone asks me why I am so hooked on the Embassy Suites and I have one answer, brand loyalty. Once a brand does me right, I am very loyal to it and its also how I live my day to day life. Everything I do whether it's on the radio or doing my travel show, its all about the Doug Parker brand, making myself stick out so people will want to come back. It can be a win-win if you do it right.

Affordable Rooms
Fridge and Microwave
Manager reception from 5:30-7:30 pm (open bar!)
All rooms have at least two room and an wet bar area
The hotel is built where all rooms face an enclosed court yard
Amenities they give you in the hotel room aren't El-cheap crap
Complimentary hot breakfast every morning with Omelet station
Sometimes it's the little things in life that give you the most peace and relaxation.
