If you know me, you know I don't gamble. Well I should say, I didn't gamble. Sunday just north of Indianapolis there is a casino called "Hooiser Park." The casino sits off of interstate 69 in Anderson, Indiana. It's a pretty neat place, I have never been to Vegas but I imagine it has to look something like this place.
A casino is just one of its draws. Horse racing, a concert venue, bars and a some great restaurants are also on the premise.
I took $60 bucks out of the ATM when we got there and started playing the slots. I love the progressive slots cause there is always that chance to win more (riiiiight). So Derrick and I sat down next to a couple slots, I was telling him when you play you have to bet all to go big otherwise it's not really worth it. I don't know how much he was listening to me though.
Long story short I turned $20 into $50.50 on one machine and on the other I turned $20 into $56. Overall it wasn't a bad day. This was clearly a lucky streak for me because you are talking to someone who has never won really anything of substance. When we were leaving someone just hit on the slots for $3,000, I wouldn't know what to do.. slots give me anxiety as it is!
Never go into a casino with more then you are willing to lose.. right Derrick? ha!
